Well, it has been over two years since my last BOREDOM BUSTER post, so I figured it is time for another one. This time we are examining how to bust the boredom of exercise. That activity is the bane of my existence. I do it, but I do not like it. I have to get creative to make it not awful. Here are some ways I accomplish this.

Play a Sport

One way to make exercise not suck is to have a purpose for moving about. By this I mean, instead of just moving because it is exercise and you have to exercise, come up with an objective to get your heart rate up. The easiest way to do that is to play a sport. Playing a sport is a great way to get exercise in because it is fun and easy to get your heart rate up.

This past summer, my siblings and I played a good amount of pickleball. This made it really easy to hit my fitness goals. I am not looking forward to winter.

Pair It with Something

I believe I have previously mentioned that I watch the British show Taskmaster while using my exercise bike. It is an entertaining show that moves quickly, so I do not have to be stuck suffering through a long workout.

Need Help Making Exercise Not Boring?

Spicing up your exercise routine in order to make it not boring is no easy task. Sometimes, you need an outside perspective to help you find the fun in exercise. Hiring a coach can be a great way to find ways of busting the boredom in your exercise routine or life in general.
